Enneagram Heart-Centered Saturday Workshop – 12.8.18

Having a basic understanding of all Nine types. Having identified as a Heart Type – a Two, Three, or Four. Also good to have a sense of your Instinctual Subtype, but not mandatory.

We have many hearts within us, from our physical heart to our spiritual heart, and from our most contracted heart to our most expansive heart. The Enneagram gives us an extraordinary map for showing how the heart takes on nine specific contractions, expressed through our personality type when fixated, and how to work with ourselves to invite in our more expansive, inclusive heart.
This particular workshop is for people in the Heart Triad – the Twos, Threes, and Fours – who wish to explore the Enneagram’s inherent wisdom is helping us see the box of our particular Heart Type and our way clear to live into our more expansive Heart – our Truer Heart. We will do this through panels formed by the participants, experiential exercises, and socratic practices. We will also work on Barbara’s Enneagram floor symbol to see how the energy, when contracted in our Heart Type, can be loosened through walking the symbol and integrated with the other Centers of Intelligence – that is, the Body and Head Centers. We will also look at the connecting and wing points, as well as the subtypes, to get a better feel for how we contract and how we might begin to expand and integrate with the other centers of intelligence (Body and Head Triads).
Make no mistake – this is practical work that will help us know ourselves better, see others more clearly, and live in the world and in relationship with more compassion and awareness. And, most importantly, love.
